Video Description

How often updates are sent (RFC: 30 seconds)

Timeout (invalid):
If this timer is exceeded without receiving updates the route is declared invalid (RFC: 180 seconds)

Garbage-collection (flush):
The time that must pass before the route is removed from the routing table (RFC: 120 seconds)

Some implementations have:

holddown: During this time new updates indicating that the route is accessible are discarded.
