4 PDUs:
Hello (ESH, ISH, IIH): discover neighbors and maintain adjacencies

LSP:  distribute link-state information (i.e. routing updates)

PSNP: partial sequence number PDU, confirmation of received LSP frames and requests for lost frames of link-state data.

CSNP: complete sequence number PDU, descriptor for the full LSP list on the LSDB.
